145 vendors will occupy Beekman Avenue in Sleepy Hollow on Sunday, Nov. 8, following a reschedule caused by October rainouts. The Sleepy Hollow Tarrytown Chamber of Commerce moved the annual street fair to the first Sunday of November to give the community and visitors a new opportunity to participate in the event.

The fair runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Beekman Avenue will close to vehicle traffic for the entire duration. The pedestrian zone includes arts and crafts stalls, food trucks, and local shops. Many merchants will set up tables outside their storefronts. Dogs are allowed on the street.

Live music and performances will take place throughout the day. Master Storyteller Jonathan Kruk will perform at noon in front of Ganso Ramen. A Headless Horseman appearance will follow from 1 to 4 p.m. in the same location. Witches Along the Hudson will perform at 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. near Pocantico Street. Luis Enrique’s Andean Flutes Band will play at the Beekman Lot. A children’s zone will operate in the Beekman Parking Lot.

Five local bands will perform at the Beekman Parking Lot entrance. Scoot and Marlena of The Kulprits open at 11 a.m. Brad and Nate of The Incumbents Acoustic follow at 12:15 p.m. The BUMP plays from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. The Altogether performs from 2:45 to 3:45 p.m. Polish John closes the musical lineup from 4 to 5 p.m.

Lucia Ballas-Traynor, executive director of the Sleepy Hollow Tarrytown Chamber of Commerce, described the fair as a tradition that brings out the best of the community. She said the event creates extraordinary energy when streets fill with local makers, eateries, and shops. Ballas-Traynor said the chamber is thrilled to welcome everyone to celebrate the unique spirit and warmth of Sleepy Hollow.

Parking is limited. The village will open the East Parcel Parking Lot at 60 Continental St. Officials encourage visitors to take the train. Tarrytown and Philipse Manor Metro-North stations are less than a mile from Beekman Avenue. Drivers can park in Irvington, Dobbs Ferry, Croton Harmon, or Hastings-on-Hudson to board trains.
