Gadi Eisenkot, chairman of the Yashar party, has attacked Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's proposal to develop alternative financial mechanisms. Eisenkot characterized the plan as an admission that the prime minister has economically destroyed the country. The criticism emerged as part of a campaign effort to define the economic direction of the government.

On Saturday, Eisenkot published a video on X that opened with the warning that all national funds are at risk. The clip included footage from a prior Channel 10 interview in which Netanyahu stated that Israel must prepare for an alternative economy. The prime minister cited the volume of international sanctions facing the state as the primary driver for this shift.

The video focused heavily on Netanyahu's comments regarding blockchain technology. In the interview, the prime minister confirmed that digital finance would certainly form part of his strategy. He noted that he had already requested a plan to be prepared for that specific mechanism. Eisenkot's campaign labeled this concept Bibicoin and argued that it would destroy the country's financial stability.

Eisenkot's team claimed that an alternative system would create an economy resembling those of North Korea and Iran. The video asserted that such a shift would mark the end of high-tech, healthcare, and security. It posed a direct question about how the global high-tech industry could invest in Israeli companies if digital currency became the sole method of exchange.

In a separate post on X, Eisenkot adopted a more personal tone to address the issue. He wrote that Netanyahu admits his policy leads to international isolation and economic sanctions that will shake the market. Eisenkot described the outcome as the collapse of national security. The post emphasized that the prime minister is leading the country toward these specific results.

The video concluded with a call to prevent the government from burning through national savings. Eisenkot argued that the current trajectory threatens the stability of the market and the security of the state. The exchange has placed the prime minister's economic contingency thinking at the center of the political debate.

Eisenkot used the prime minister's own words from the Channel 10 interview as the basis for his criticism. The campaign materials juxtapose the government's plan with the potential for economic isolation. No further economic data was released alongside the video. The political response remains focused on the implications of the proposed digital finance framework.
