Bryant Park opened the Bank of America Winter Village on Wednesday, October 28, introducing a seasonal complex to Midtown Manhattan that features free ice skating and an outdoor holiday market. The facility occupies the park space between 40th and 42nd Streets on Sixth Avenue, marking the start of a seasonal program that has operated for more than two decades.

The central attraction is The Rink, one of the largest ice skating facilities in New York City. Skating is free for all visitors, although renting skates and other services carry separate fees. Bank of America cardholders receive a 10% discount on skate rentals when they reserve using their card. The rink operates every day, including holidays, and has expanded its group classes for beginners to include sessions on weekday mornings and weekends.

Adjacent to the ice is The Holiday Shops by Urbanspace, an open-air market hosting more than 180 vendors. The stalls sell artisanal gifts, jewelry, home decor, creator-made goods, and gourmet specialties. The market remains open daily from October 28, 2026, through January 3, 2027, providing visitors with several weeks to browse before year-end holidays.

The complex also includes The Lodge, a bar and dining hall positioned next to the rink. The space offers seasonal dishes, hot beverages, and signature cocktails across two full-service bars. This area allows visitors to rest and watch skaters, extending the visit beyond just shopping or ice time to include dining and social gatherings.

Family-oriented programming includes Club Santa, a premium package that combines skate rentals, concierge service, extra ice time, and a private session with Santa. This experience also features festive treats and crafts in the air-conditioned Polar Lounge. Tickets for Club Santa are available for November 28, 29, and December 5, 6. A separate free activity, Santa’s Corner, allows for outdoor photographs with seasonal props from December 14 to 18, with no tickets required and service provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Winter Village serves as a seasonal hub for residents and tourists in the heart of the city. Each component of the site, including the rink, shops, and lodge, maintains its own schedule and pricing structure. Details, reservations, and program updates are available on the official website and through the Bryant Park social media accounts.
