Anker cuts Space 2 headphone price to $106.49 at major US stores

Anker has reduced the price of its Soundcore Space 2 noise-canceling headphones to $106.49.

The price cut, effective as of October 23, represents a $23 discount from the standard retail cost. The offer is currently active at three major US retailers: Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart. All three available color options for the device are included in the promotion.

This price point is historically low for the Space 2. The model serves as the successor to the Space One, which launched in 2023. John Higgins of The Verge previously identified the original Space One as a top choice for budget audio equipment. While the Space 2 carries a list price that is $30 higher than its predecessor, the current discount narrows that gap for consumers.

The newer hardware features improved active noise cancellation compared to the 2023 model. The system is more effective at suppressing low-frequency sounds, such as those generated by train engines or aircraft. Soundcore also adjusted the design to provide more accurate sound reproduction than the original device.

The headphones retain several features that defined the value of the previous generation. They support high-resolution LDAC audio and include HearID 3.0, a personalization tool that adjusts sound output based on user responses to specific audio samples. Battery life has also increased, with the new unit offering up to 50 hours of playback with noise cancellation active, up from 40 hours on the older model.

With noise cancellation turned off, the Space 2 provides up to 70 hours of battery life, compared to 55 hours for the previous version. The device includes a 3.5mm jack for wired listening and features an automatic pause function when the headphones are removed from the head.
