A 30 percent discount on Fi's satellite-connected pet trackers brings the price of the Ultra model down to $209.30 for the next two days. The offer runs through October 25 and requires shoppers to enter the coupon code SCARY at checkout.
The promotion applies to several of the company's devices, including the Fi Ultra, which The Verge tested earlier this year. The discounted price matches the product's initial launch cost. The device features an IP68 rating, making it fully waterproof in saltwater. Battery life lasts up to five days for active dogs, though performance varies based on movement levels.
The tracker clips onto a collar or harness and uses a combination of LTE, GPS, and Starlink satellite coverage to locate pets even without cellular service. It can play sounds and vibrate to alert owners. Fi describes the Ultra as the first dog tracker to combine T-Satellite, Starlink, GPS, and LTE technology.
In testing conducted in a remote part of South Carolina, The Verge found the tracking to be precise. However, the device updates location data every two to three minutes, which may lag behind fast-moving animals. Battery life in Lost Mode lasted barely two days on a full charge. The unit is relatively large, making it a better fit for bigger dogs.
Users must maintain an active subscription to access tracking features. Fi offers discounted rates for the first term with six-month, one-year, and two-year plans. A one-year plan costs $99 for the first year and $189 for subsequent years. These plans are valid only in the United States, and satellite coverage does not extend to Alaska.
Other electronics are also discounted during this period. Amazon lists a physical copy of Kirby Air Riders for the Nintendo Switch 2 at $48.99, a drop from its standard $69.99 price. The JLab JBuds Talk USB-C microphone is available for $24.99, significantly below its usual range of $50 to $100. The device supports four directional modes and a 96KHz/24-bit sample rate.
Lego's Star Wars Grogu set is priced at $103.99 on Amazon, which is $26 off and matches its lowest recorded price. The 1,200-piece kit features Grogu in beskar armor with a satchel. Builders can swap arms and facial features for different expressions, and a built-in lever rotates the character's head.
