Lamar Jackson returned to full participation in practice on Wednesday, marking the first time he has joined his teammates since missing three and a half games due to a left ankle injury.

The Ravens, who lost their last two divisional games while Jackson was sidelined, watched as the quarterback moved and threw without visible difficulty. His ankle was taped, but he completed the observed portion of the session as a full participant.

Head coach Jesse Minter offered a cautious but positive update on Jackson's status. "I think the more you're able to do and respond from and feel from certainly raises your optimism," Minter said. "But again, we'll kind of see how it goes throughout the week."

Baltimore's offense has struggled to maintain consistency in the second half of recent games, but players are resisting the use of Jackson's absence as a primary excuse. Running back Derrick Henry emphasized individual accountability in the absence of the quarterback.

"I don't really try to look at it as an excuse, not having Lamar," Henry said. "I just have to play better. I have to be better, and that's what it comes down to, me doing my job effectively, every single play, and it just hasn't been up to that standard."

Henry expressed confidence in the offensive unit's ability to correct its recent slumps. "I know what I'm capable of," he added. "I know the work that I put in, and I know the work we put in collectively as an offense that it will happen."

Team veterans are also focusing on emotional stability during games. Left tackle Ronnie Stanley noted that the Ravens must stop allowing external momentum to dictate their play style. "It makes a big difference, because you can't let the things happening on the field dictate how you're going to play, or the emotions you're going to go into that drive with," Stanley said.

The Ravens will face the Buffalo Bills, a team currently on a bye week. Baltimore will wait until later in the week for a final decision on whether Jackson will be cleared to take the field.
