The Enoch Pratt Free Library’s Afroamerican Department is hosting a free social event for adults on Saturday, October 31, 2026. The gathering, titled “Halloween for Adults: A Speed Friending Friendship Event,” takes place in the Creative Arts Center at the library’s main branch.
The program is designed to help participants meet new people through structured icebreakers. Activities include Human Bingo, Two Truths and a Lie, and a game called Who Am I? A key component is a speed friending session, where attendees engage in short, consecutive one-on-one conversations.
The event provides light refreshments for guests. Organizers will also award prizes, including a specific recognition for the best costume of the evening.
The venue is the Central Pratt Library located at 400 Cathedral Street in Baltimore, Maryland. The address zip code is 21201. Admission is open to all adults in the city at no cost.
For more details, the library lists the event on its official events calendar. This gathering is part of the library’s effort to create new social spaces and strengthen community ties among Baltimore residents.
